Smart lists: Lists that intelligently filter and display tasks based on certain conditions, such as All, Today, Tomorrow, and Next 7 Days.
Smart Recognition
TickTick supports recognizing dates and times in tasks. You only need to add dates and time in the task content, and we will automatically set the reminder time for you, greatly simplifying the operation steps.
For example, input "Meeting at 9 tomorrow"

When you don't need to recognize the time, simply press the "Delete" key on the keyboard or click on the "recognized time" to cancel recognition.

More ways to add tasks
Add tasks via email
Do you use email for collaboration in your work? If you don't have time to deal with an email, you can turn it into a task to ensure that you don't forget about it.
To create a task via email, log in to the web version of TickTick, click "Avatar" > "Settings" > "Integrations & Import", and find "Add tasks via email."

- The first one: todo@mail.ticktick.com
- The second one: your personalized email link (each person's personalized email link is different)
What is the difference between these two email addresses?
- The first one: todo@mail.ticktick.com. You need to send an email from your registered email address with TickTick to this email address to save the email as a task.
- The second one: your personalized email link. When you send an email from "any email account" to the second email address, it will be saved as a task in TickTick.
Therefore, if you only have one commonly used work email and this email is also your TickTick account email, it is recommended that you save the first email address to your contacts. If you use multiple email accounts at the same time, it is recommended that you save the second email address to your contacts.
In the future, when you come across emails that you don't have time to deal with immediately, you can forward them to this email address, and they will be saved to TickTick.
Adding Tasks with iOS Siri
TickTick users on iOS can enable the "Siri" feature in the app to directly add tasks using Siri.
Open the app - "Settings" - "Import & Integration" - find "Siri" and select to enable it.

After enabling "Add Tasks via Siri", you can tell Siri:
- Add "Go to library tomorrow" to TickTick.
- After opening TickTick, you can see the task you just added.

You can use simpler sentence structures by enabling "Auto-import from Reminders" Then you can tell Siri, "Remind me to go to library tomorrow."

- Once enabled, TickTick will automatically import tasks from the "Reminders" default list every time it is opened.
To avoid tasks being reminded in both applications at the same time, the original task in "Reminders" will be deleted after each import.
Adding a Single Task to the Clipboard
If the content you copied contains special information such as time, you can quickly add it as a task using TickTick's "Clipboard Add Task" feature.
- Enable "Recognize information in clipboard" in "Settings" - "General" - "Task Quick Add". After enabling the option, if the content in the clipboard contains "time information," the app will prompt "you may want to add a task" when opened, and clicking "add" will create the task successfully.

If there is no content in the clipboard or no identifiable information in the content, no prompt will be given.
Copy and add multiple tasks
Copy multiple lines of text and the app will prompt "Batch Add Tasks" when opened. Select "OK" to create multiple tasks.
