List names don’t show in folder view on iPhone
So I have folders with multiple lists and an overview, like this:

Folder
- List A
- List B
- List C
- All Tasks (overview of folder)

When I view ‘All Tasks’ on the web with ‘show details’ enabled, I see the list name beside each task as well as the tags and other details. For example:

Task name • List A
Task name • List C

But on iOS if I view ‘All Tasks’ with ‘show details’ enabled it DOESN’T show the list name. This makes ‘All tasks’ useless on iOS as I can’t see which list each task belongs to. It shows up in every other view (Today etc) just not in ‘All Tasks’ on iOS.

I don’t want to use all different colours for lists in the same folder. I want to use the same colour eg I have one colour for my work lists. So please don’t suggest that as a fix.

I am using an iPhone 7 with iOS 12.3.1 and TickTick v5.1.10. Please see screenshots here: https://ibb.co/cySqP35

Is this a bug?

It would be a strange decision if it was deliberate.
Hey Annie,

I don’t want to use all different colours for lists in the same folder. I want to use the same colour eg I have one colour for my work lists. So please don’t suggest that as a fix.

➣Have noted it down and will pass it to the product team to do an evaluation.

When I view ‘All Tasks’ on the web with ‘show details’ enabled, I see the list name beside each task as well as the tags and other details.

➣Sorry we are a little confused, there is actually no "Show detail" setting in the web, is it possible to send us a screenshot in the web in case we get you wrong.
Ah I didn’t realise it wasn’t a setting on the web! That isn’t really relevant as the issue is on iOS, let’s not get sidetracked. I only included the web to show how it is meant to look.

On iOS you can turn details on and off. But it doesn’t work in the ‘All Tasks’ view as the list name is missing.

Could you PLEASE tell me if this is a bug? I would appreciate an answer thank you! At the moment the All Tasks overview is useless on iOS because of this.
Hey Annie,

It sounds like a bug, could you plz take a screenshot of that interface and we could look into it?
I did take a screenshot already, can you please look at the link I posted as that shows iOS at the bottom. Here: https://ibb.co/cySqP35
Hey Annie,

Have gone through the picture you sent, it indeed seems like a bug, have passed it to the dev team and we will try to fix it in the next version asap.
Great, thanks!
Hi, I'm also having the same issue on the Mac app - when I view a custom smart list, I don't see the list name each task belongs to. This is with Show Details turned on. I can see the list colour and any tags, but not the list name.

I'm using TickTick for Mac version 3.1.0 and running MacOS Mojave 10.14.4.

I paid for TickTick Premium partly to use custom smart lists but this means they're basically useless on two platforms. Please fix this.
Hey Annie,

Could you take a screenshot in case we get you wrong?

Does the issue persist when you uninstall and reinstall the app?
I don’t understand how you could get me wrong. When I view custom smart lists on the Mac and turn on ‘show details’, I don’t see the list name beside the task. Like I already explained and showed through screenshots. I won’t be on my Mac again for a while and the issue is exactly as I’ve already shown on the iPhone.

Reinstalling the iPhone app makes no difference. I don’t have time to try with the Mac one at the moment. Please just look at the iPhone screenshots I already sent as it is the exact same issue on Mac.

I love TickTick but it’s so hard to get you to understand any problem that it’s really frustrating and stressful.
Hey Annie,

This is kind of confusing.

"When I view custom smart lists on the Mac and turn on ‘show details’, I don’t see the list name beside the task." We don't support this function 'show details' on the Mac.

We have passed the iPhone issue to the devs and they will look into it asap. But the Mac issue you mentioned is quite confusing.
I swear when I was on my Mac I could toggle details on and off but it doesn’t matter, that’s not the actual issue, you’re getting sidetracked by irrelevant details.

The point is I have the same issue on the Mac as on iPhone: in custom smart lists you see tags but not the list name so you don’t know what list the task is from unless you go into each individual task. That’s the same issue as on iPhone so there’s no reason to get confused.
Hey Annie,

Got you. We just tested it on our end, see the attached. https://snag.gy/gZmsz8.jpg

Do you mean even when you turn the "Show Details" on, the list names are missing.

Really sorry because there is no searching function in the forum, the post you sent to us is now overwhelmed by others' posts. We may bother you to send us them again.
Yes that’s exactly what disappears - the list name, in custom smart lists on iOS and Mac. That’s the problem.

If you lost my post just read the thread here: https://help.ticktick.com/forum/topic/390747
Hey Annie,

Great, thanks for the thread! We have passed this issue to the devs and they will look into it asap.
